Aubrey Wilkinson

Hi! I'm Aubrey - I'm a 22 year old esthetics student studying at Bellus Academy in Manhattan, Kansas. I've always had a passion for skincare and spent my high school years chasing glass skin dreams; I was constantly asked by stangers on the street what products I was using at home, and the world of skin care and cosmetics was my oyster! At age 17 it all came to a crashishing halt, when overnight my skin began to swell, crack, and peel beyond any sort of dehydration or eczema I had ever seen or experienced. The battle to find a solution or any kind of relief persisted for four years - and I have finally found my solution through nutrition, contact-allergen avoidance, and a strict skincare regimen comprised of clean, limited-ingredient products. 

For the five years that I itched and peeled, I felt trapped inside of something that was controlling my life for me. I learned how valuable it is to feel at home in your own skin, and how deprecating it is to have every sensation of touch overridden by feelings of pain, fear, or frustration. 

In this period of time I have tried to learn as much as possible about reactive and sensitive skin types like mine in hopes that one day soon I can start to help other's find answers and relief. Each new day on the other side of this jouney has given me more drive and passion to be the trusted-esthetician I wished I had known back then!
