Hi! My name is Ayda VanderLaan, and I’m an esthetician student at The Salon Professional Academy in Holland. I started the program in February 2025 and will graduate in December 2025. Some of my favorite services to perform are lash extensions, facials, and waxing. I’m passionate about helping people look and feel their best, and I love building confidence through customized skincare and beauty treatments.
Outside of school, I’m fortunate to have a big, close-knit family that I love spending time with. I’m also surrounded by amazing friends who are incredibly supportive. I would describe myself as having a bubbly personality — I love to laugh, enjoy a good time, and bring positive energy wherever I go. Whether it's a fun night out or a cozy night in, I enjoy music, movies, and discovering new experiences. I’m always open to trying new things and am genuinely excited to do that through this career path.

I chose this career path because of my own personal journey with skin struggles throughout middle and high school. I spent years trying countless products and routines in search of clear skin. Eventually, I decided to go on Accutane, which ultimately turned out to be the best decision for me. While I was fortunate to have a positive experience, I know that’s not the case for everyone. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others achieve healthy, confident skin without necessarily resorting to harsh treatments.
In addition to skincare, I love using lash extensions and makeup as tools to enhance natural beauty and boost self-confidence. Whether it's a subtle enhancement or a bold transformation, I believe beauty services can empower people to feel their best. I’m especially dedicated to using effective, targeted ingredients to address a wide range of skin concerns—and complementing that work with esthetic services that make people look and feel amazing.
There’s nothing more rewarding to me than helping someone feel good about themselves. Being able to do that every day through my work is something I feel incredibly grateful for
