About me
My name is Bellina Aponte and I am a versatile artistic individual who is passionate about many art forms, some of which I do today. I am a self-taught freelance makeup artist as well as a Fashion Designer.
In 2019 I graduated with an associate degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). At FIT I developed and enhanced my skills through the use of art, design, and creative thinking.
In addition to my knowledge in fashion design, I have 10 years of experience in doing makeup and have learned to do a wide range of different makeup styles and techniques. I began doing makeup in 2015 and have been freelancing in the beauty industry as a makeup artist ever since.
Being in FIT helped me establish a strong client relationship through networking at events inside and outside of school. I have had the amazing opportunity to work for several different magazines and agencies, including Mefeater Magazine, Mordant Magazine, and Christopher Horne Photos. I would love the opportunity to continue growing and expanding within the industry.

I'm here with the desire to expand my network and form meaningful connections with other professionals and clients. Building these connections not only helps the development of my professional journey but will also open up doors to new exciting opportunities and collaborations.
I am an advocate for self-development and I recognize the importance of continuous learning and growth as a makeup artist and individual overall. Being a part of a creative community allows me to stay updated on trends, techniques, and industry insights, ultimately contributing to my long-term career goals.
I am also passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with others and would love to pass on my skills and insights to aspiring individuals.
I am drawn particularly to creative opportunities within the community such as fashion editorials, fashion shows, and productions in the film and television industry but I am always open and eager to expand in other areas as well.
