About me
My name is Betsi and I have been a licensed cosmetologist since August 2020 and
behind the chair since September 2020. I’m 25 years old, live in Aurora,
Illinois, and outside of doing hair I love spending time with and clicker
training my cat son, Tadashi, watching anime, and visiting thrift stores.
I am currently behind the chair at High Voltage Hair Society in Elmhurst, Illinois. It's a great space to be a part of, full of talented artists, and I'm keeping an open mind towards relocating to the city.
I specialize in vivid hair coloring. It's been wonderful seeing more people normalize creative colors and cuts in the suburbs, something that I personally used to see happen more in the city. I love being able to give that urban, classy, yet edgy feel to folks in the suburbs.

Why I'm here
Although we are in tumultuous times, I’m doing the work to keep my dreams alive and well
in this industry, which is working my way into being a full-time hairdresser,
building upon the clientele I’ve already gained, and owning strengths in both
“natural” and creative hair coloring, cutting, and styling.
