About me
My name is Beverly Greear and I am a born and raised Florida girl. I love my family, my dog, and all things hair. My passion for hair started when I was a little girl. I grew up dancing competitively and I always enjoyed watching everyone do their hair. As I got older my passion for hair grew into more than just styling. I became interested in different hair colors and different cuts. Going to cosmetology school was always just a dream. After high school I went to the University of Mississippi and I realized that college was not for me. When I came home I got serious about where I wanted to go in life and I came to the realization that cosmetology wasn't just a dream it was something I would succeed at! I am so happy that I am in cosmo school and can't wait to see where I go in this industry.

Why I'm here
I am here to further build my knowledge so I can add to my academy education. I must never stop learning. If you go a day without learning, you’re not living. This industry is limitless and opportunities abound. If chosen to attend Beacon, I would delightfully accept and be most proud and most honored. This is a golden opportunity that I cannot allow to pass by me without at least a leap. I am taking a leap towards learning the best from the best. To add PBA’s Beacon to my resume would be amazing. What an honor and what an occasion this would be.
