Blake Reed Evans (he/him/his) is an award-winning hairstylist, salon owner, and global educator based in Tampa, Florida. With over a decade of experience in professional education, Blake is known for delivering high-impact classes that blends technical excellence with real-world strategies stylists can actually use.
A longtime member of the Redken Artist Network and SalonCentric #ittakesapro Team, Blake travels across the country teaching hair color, business development, and social media classes—both in salons and on the biggest beauty stages in the industry. He’s been recognized as one of Top 100 Stylists by Modern Salon, with features in Nylon, Beauty Launchpad, Teen Vogue, and PopSugar.
Blake is the co-owner of Shear Art Salon in Tampa, where he leads a team of stylists with a strong focus on mentorship, education, and customized client experiences. As a content creator and influencer, Blake also shares engaging, education-driven content with thousands of followers on Instagram and TikTok, helping to elevate the craft and culture of hairdressing.
Whether he’s teaching a hands-on class, hosting a retreat, or keynoting at an industry event, Blake brings humor, heart, and a deep passion for helping stylists grow behind the chair and beyond it.

I want to be part of the Redken Artistic Mentorship program because elevating haircolor education is the heartbeat of my career. I love taking complex color theory and making it simple, usable, and exciting for every stylist I teach. This program is the perfect environment to sharpen my craft, grow as a leader, and learn from artists who set the standard for creativity and excellence. I’m ready to bring my passion, my point of view, and my commitment to inspiring others to the next level.
