My name is Braylon Byrd, and I’m a 19-year-old aspiring hairstylist with a strong passion for the beauty industry. I graduated from Scott High School in 2024 and am currently pursuing my education at the Tennessee School of Beauty. Growing up in a family of hairstylists—my mother and sister—I developed a deep love for helping others look and feel their best. I attend White Rock Baptist Church and in my free time I love to hang out with my boyfriend and family. I value professionalism, kindness, and creativity. I want to learn and be the best I can in haircutting, coloring, and bridal styling, and I’m eager to bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and growing skill set to a salon where I can continue learning and serving clients with care and confidence.

I chose the beauty industry because it allows me to express my creativity, connect with people, and work in a positive, uplifting environment. I’ve always enjoyed being creative, and doing hair gives me a way to turn that creativity into something meaningful. I love helping people feel better about themselves, whether it’s through a fresh new style or simply being someone they can talk to. This industry gives me the opportunity to do what I love every day while making a difference in others’ lives—and that’s what makes it so special to me.
