Hii! My name is Bri and I'm a licensed esthetician looking for a salon / spa to call my new home! Ever since I was young I loved the beauty industry. At the time, I would do my makeup everyday but skin care wasn't really in my routine yet even though I struggled with acne. Skincare wasn't as big as it is now when I was young so I didn't have an idea of how to take care of my skin. Makeup routines were the "trend" all over social media, unlike now where skincare routines are all over social media. I would always hate how my acne and scars looked. I tried covering the acne up with more makeup leading to more breakouts which led to me picking at them resulting in more scars. At the time I had no idea how to fix it or even what products to be using. Let alone if my skin was combination, oily, or dry. However, the problem cleared up as much as it could without proper products. There was no more severe acne happening and the scars were there but not as terrible. At that point, I was graduating high school and didn't have a college lined up. My mom and I toured some cosmetology schools in our location and it just wasn't for me. So, I went and did real estate school which I thought would be for me but really it was just what I pictured doing in my head from watching Selling sunset. For me, if I'm not fully interested I'm not going to retain the information as well as if I was interested in it. So in the end, I ended up not pursuing real estate. After that I wasn't sure what to do for a career. I was waitressing and at that time I was seeing on social media that a new esthetician school had opened up right near my house! Which was perfect timing because around that time I was getting more and more interested in skincare from (of course) TikTok. I ended up touring the school and loving it. I loved it so much I also retained a job there as a receptionist before my classes started as a student there. I loved that I was able to get a sneak peek into the skincare world, and I fell in love with that world. As soon as I started school and performed my first facial, I knew I was where I was supposed to be. Ever since then I never want to stop doing facials. Since I started school my skin has never been better and I finally understand how to properly take care of it. I want to keep learning and growing in the skincare world and the beauty field. I am dermalogica certified, as well as certified in teeth gems and lash extensions. On top of that, I know how to perform teeth whitening and spray tans. Very soon, I will also be certified in Dermaplaning, lash lifts & tints and eyebrow lamination & tints. I’m also interested in doing a cryotherapy course as well as any others needed (happily)! If you hire me to be an esthetician in your salon / spa you would not be disappointed. I am hard working and driven, especially when I love something and I love every single thing about this field. The most rewarding job I can think of is making people feel good about themselves. They come to us for help with their skin concerns and to make them look “prettier”. Which, in all honesty they are already beautiful, but a simple facial can make them feel on top of the world with their beauty. I am a team player who loves to cheer on and help anyone who needs it! Again, I love to learn so if there is something you don’t see that you would like please feel free to reach out as I won’t be opposed to doing another class or course to further my education! Lastly, I’m inspired by this field not only because of the way it keeps growing and evolving but also because it brings people together, and brings the natural beauty out in everyone. Thank you for your time reading this and I hope you take me into consideration for a position in your salon / spa. I would love to be a part of your second family.
