About me
I am a student stylist with a little experience in several different areas! I was born in Oregon, but grew up in Indiana. I have always loved playing with hair, and learning how achieve certain looks. Above all, I knew I wanted to work closely with people. My senior year of high school was spent in CNA training, but I quickly switched to education in college. From there, I earned an associates degree in Early Childhood Education and landed an opportunity in Colorado. I met my spouse and we set off for Washington shortly after! In my free time, I enjoy training for long distance runs, roller skating, cooking, and improving on my makeup skills!

Why I'm here
I have always taken pride in working and collaborating with people. Being able to move and work with my hands was an important aspect of my professional development. Cosmetology school was always on the back of my mind after high school, and I had even been in contact with several schools. After relocating to Washington, I felt ready to finally jump on the opportunity of learning and growth. I started at Summit Salon Academy of Tacoma in January. After working on the salon floor, I cannot be more grateful for taking that leap of faith! I get to take pride in my work, hair knowledge, and seeing clients leave my chair happy and confident. I cannot wait to expand more on my skills in an industry that is constantly changing and growing!
