Brittany Cooley

My names is Brittany and I’m an independent colorist at Cliche Salon in Inwood W.V. Ive been doing hair now for 9 years. I first started getting interested in the beauty industry my Junior Year of High School. I had lost over 50 lbs and wanted to start feeling better about myself, thats when I found hair and makeup tutorials on YouTube. One year after High School I went to Beauty School and I knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I wanted to make people feel better about themselves the way I started to feel. It’s more than just doing hair, it’s a feeling, and I want everyone to feel beautiful. I also love art but I could never really draw. All through out school I expressed myself through my clothes and hair by doing DIY styles. I was always my own canvas and now I am able to create by using others as my canvas.
