About me

Hello! I am a recent graduate of Hair Lab Detroit Barber School. During my time in barber school, we focused on foundational cutting for men and women, straight razor, color, guest services, and competion as well as safety and sanitation. I love being able to create custom looks for my clients. From cuts to color, being able to express my creativetivity and uplift my clients has been the most rewarding experience. I have wanted to become a stylist for as long as I can remember. Life's circumstances did not allow for that. As time went and life changed, hair kept making an appearance. After an abusive relationship and moving across the state, I had a friend reignite my spark for the industry. I was working a job I hated and started looking for ways to make school work. Eventually I was fired from my job and enrolled in barber school right after! In my free time I love to create. Wether its playing with color/cuts on my mannequin or working on my custom clothing line, I love finding different avenues to express my creativity. I have two golden retrievers, so we often explore together and we love playing in the water

Why I'm here

I'm here to stand as voice for my community. I am a queer women entering into a male dominated industry. I struggled for a long time feeling comfortable in a barbershop because everyone would look at me like I didn't belong. I would go to a cosmetologist for color and the rest of my cut. I could never understand why barber and stylists cut so differently and why they were intimidated by each others skills. I set out to bridge that gap. I want to provide my guests with short tapered fades, razor and color services. One stop shop! But more importantly, I want to facilitate a space where everyone feels comfortable, regardless of their gender identity, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. Every human is respected and is important in my chair. And every client can feel confident that I am properly trained to not only safely offer them services but being an expert in all types of hair and styles.
