About me
My name is Brooke James I am 20 years old and have a passion for beauty! I love hair, makeup and skincare. I am always open to new things because I believe the best way to learn is through doing. Outside of the beauty industry I love reading, collecting antiques, going dancing and traveling.
I have many goals ranging from short term to long term. My current short term goals is to start working in the bridal makeup community. Another short term goal I have is to build more of a following on my professional instagram so people see more of what I can do. My long term goal is to be a buisness owner of a hair and makeup studio.
I am a very reliable person and easy to get along with. I love interacting with my coworkers and learning from those around me. I pride myself on being kind and professional. I treat my coworkers and clients as my second family because I love what I do and the people that help me achieve my dreams!

Why I'm here
I fell in love with the beauty industry when I was in middle school. I watched my mom do makeup everyday and always practiced along side her. In high school I was diagnosed with Lupus and during treatments I started to lose my hair. I felt myself becoming self concious and scared I would lose something I loved so much. Alas, my hair came back and I decided I wanted to make a career out of beauty to help women feel beautiful in their own skin no matter what challeneges they are facing. It feels good to put a smile on someones face and to know you helped boost their confidence!
