I am definitely a different breed and certainly have some awkward moments. My disclaimer is usually informing guest that I'm a bit unconventional but no worries only gorgeous walks out that door. 

 Began landing an apprenticeship with Modern Salon & Spa Philips Place they have a dedicated intensely scrutinized 8months of Advanced theory and Skills training testouts always with live models alot of homework alot of documenting progress as well as assisting 2 of their top Senior2 Blonding Specialist and upon completing the course graduate to the floor got the opportunity to work side by side one of the most talented in Charlotte also owner of Modern Salon &Spa Arzeo H. MSS molded who I am professionally. best professional Development. 

I took a personal leave from there, took time closer to family and ventured back to the restaurant industry supervisoring FOH in one of the Best Brunch spot in Belmont. 

Tested out the housewife thing... Was all glitz and glam till it became more like mob wives my partner suddenly winds up in lock up my best friend pushed me to get back to hair hired me where he was managing.

 I was shortly transfered to Ballantynes location begining my journey into salon management also where everything everyone just cliqued all of sudden few weeks after the transfer the phones won't stop walk-ins increased and surprisingly they were requesting me by name and my career made sense I was titled top in the company of 4 sister salons and held it along with highest grossing , as I gained these clients and exchanged stories and they began to express how comfortable they felt and the amount of appreciation they had noticing me connect with the hair as I detail looks I tend to let the hair talk to me and I guess it shows lol all the love and support and referrals humbled me and empowers me to keep my skill on trend and continually seek improvement and knowledge

product knowledge has got to be one of my favorite parts of the industry the knowledge if you take it seriously crowns you superhero when asked about something and you can confidently respond and honest & if the buy your recommendation and works golden! 

I'm on a mission I wish love peace and respect for everyone. I enter all situations with open heart genuine desire to connect and my intentions always pure. I see the good in all. I have had my fair share of undeserving judgment and bad attitudes. Why I promote spreading joy to others and being the "highlight" to their day. Best part I get to utilize beauty in doing just that. 

The return_ A Job that isnt work. A fulfillment. 

When I reached a point where new artist began to watch and ask questions I realized the importance behind shared knowledge and I have always had a desire to give back how ever I can. Not so much a desire to educate until forced to experience the impact of a little tips and tricks moment and seeing them apply my teaching in their craft and the positive impact it had to the over all service quality and best of all confidence.

Now knowing myself who I am how I want to be perceived ,what I stand for and believe, I have a lot of self respect and uncompromising passion for the industry and it's future.

I set out with hopes to achieve success in form of a platform as a respectable stylist looked to for advice and be able to share what worked for me how I took off with such confidence how I handled rejection or navigated starting over and left fear in the dust along with all the passed down well respected knowledge and words of inspiration that truly helped me and stuck with me to this day 

I was there once and scared almost walked away from really amazing opportunities but I found ways to push thru I stuffed my brain with all kinds of theory offered product knowledge and took any piece. Of advice offered. So with that platform I would leverage to building a community of talents seasoned professional of all creative backgrounds and dreams where new talent and current can seek advice share ideas collaborate on ways to come together abling us to make a bigger impact. It's a big dream for sure and Im the furthest from having a plan but I have a purpose a drive and know what direction ⬆️ I trust my dreams to reign true the passion and emotion from the thought to see it in action .

Just watch for it, and when time comes hopefully you all will desire to be apart of the movement refer your own and take part in empowering the future of the industry.
