Carmen Baisden-Moyston

 I am Carmen Baisden-Moyston, a license Master Cosmetologist specializing in textured hair styling. I love curls, kinks, waves and coils. Initially choosing textured hair for its versatility, I then saw a need. A need in the industry to show textured hair can be elevated too. It can be editorial, beauty, or avant-garde in its original state. Simply put, I see a masterpiece in what some deem a mess.      Now I have gained a calling to help others see the allure as well. As a former teacher, I understand the value of information and education. My experience in the classroom aids me in my clients total haircare. They learn what they can do achieve their personal hair goals. When a guest leaves my chair feeling empowered and seeing the beauty in their tresses I feel accomplished.    Natural hair education and styling demonstrates that our hair does not ALWAYS have to be glue on, taped down or sewn in to be appealing. I am looking to unite with a company that highlights this fact; where I may be an asset working towards a shared goal.
