About me
I am 33 years young, living in the most beautiful place the midwest has to offer. I have a beautiful, 8 year old son, the coolest husband ever, and two rescue dogs. I have lived all over Michigan, but have always been lovingly reffered to as a "little northern light". I am constantly pursuing my happiest and most authentic life.

Why I'm here
I dont think there is enough room on this page to list out every twist and turn that led me to where I am now. In the best summary I can give, I went right to the work force in my teen years. I worked for 18 years in the food and beverage industry, working most positions, from dishwashing to managing fine dining establishments, dive bars to distilleries.
There are many similarities between the hospitality industry and the beauty industry. In both professions, we see people on their best days and worst, the happiest of celebrations, moments of heartbreak and greif. Both of these professions, at their most basic level, are service and people centered. The jobs are very different but both bring comfort, relaxation, and human interaction.
After years of keeping cosmetology in the back of my mind, the overwhelming urge to pursue a limitless career, full of novelty, beauty, art, and connecting with people, I dove head first into the art and science that is cosmetology.
