Charles Gonzales

I am a full-time stylist and business owner. I have actively been behind the chair for 12 years. My passion is in color and formal style. Nothing feels better than doing a gorgeous updo on a perfectly formulated color!

In my early stages, I've had some wonderful opportunities to work alongside, and under some of our Local celebrities stylist.
I did many news segments ,promoting products as well as color services at our local Salon. Planet Hair.
I have worked with glam squad, doing hair for the Emmys in Los Angeles.
I have also spent some time as an educator for Moroccanoil. Teaching product knowledge classes to local salons.

I have also taught a few of my own private classes. Teaching simple wedding styles or color corrections.

My passion is to be an artist. Not just a hairstylist. On my free time. I love painting. I love using vivid colors. And creating illusions, that glow in the dark or even change colors. And being able to apply that to my work is such an amazing feeling. I love being an educator. Helping other stylists see a dream, and be able to apply it themselves. I feel that sharing knowledge is such a crucial part of our industry. To be a good hairstylist you have to be self driven. Searching for what's new and figuring out how to accomplish it. And being on the side of education, makes me feel like I'm helping our industry grow.
