Welcome to Glitterboykc Canvasme page! 

A little about me: My name is Charlie Grace. I grew up in a rural Missouri town. I relocated to Overland Park, Kansas and met my husband Gavin. We have two cats and love to watch the Midwest thunderatorms. When I graduated high school, I started nursing school right away. Very quickly I learned THIS IS NOT FOR ME. I loved taking care of people, but it was not the right path for me.

I realized my calling one day while I was serving at my restaurant job. It wasn't a fulfilling job, and it wasn't in my plans to do it forever. I wanted to do hair, and needed to get a degree and do something I could be creative - Cosmetology. I always loved to curl my sisters hair and color my own hair, so it was an easy choice. That night I reached out to Z Hair Acadamy, and by the next day I was in the works to start classes. Since then, I haven't stopped learning and cultivating a diverse set of skills to better serve my clients.

What's Glitterboy up to now?

GlitterboyKC is a level 3 stylist at Paisley and Stripe Salon in Overland Park, Kansas. Right out side of Kansas City, Mo. GlitterboyKC has come a long way from his beginnings at Z Hair Academy. 

Glitterboykc was a finalist for The Midwest Hairstylin Awards Colorist Of The Year 2021 & 2022. He also curated an artistic team at Paisley and Stripe who place finalist for the 2022 Midwest Artistic team of the year.
