About me

Hi there! My name is Chloe, and I am a recent graduate of the Cosmetology Program at Paul Mitchell the School in Austin, Texas. I have always had a passion for helping people and want to use my hairdressing skills to help my clients feel confident and beautiful from the inside out. I am fortunate enough to have lived in multiple cities and countries throughout the world and traveling has instilled in me a love for discovering new ideas and experiencing unfamiliar cultures. More importantly, it has challenged my preconceptions and opened myself to different points of view which has made me far more inclusive and embracing of the diverse community we live in. I am always keen to learn new skills and am looking for an opportunity to expand my creativity and improve myself as an artist by seeking out different styles and unique approaches to hair care. Finally, I want my clients to see me as a trustworthy and caring ally both in and out of the salon, who understands the responsibility a stylist has and wants to make them leave an appointment feeling great and looking wonderful each and every time they visit.

Why I'm here

Ever since I remember I have been surrounded by strong independent passionate women. I was first inspired to become a stylist by my mother, who ran a spa for more than ten years and has developed her own line of skincare and make up. Her relentless work ethic and belief in her own creativity helped overcome many obstacles and has instilled in me a determination and drive to succeed on my journey as a stylist.

I went to Indiana University for a year, believing I had to follow the traditional route of high school to college, and planned to become a guidance counselor until I knew realized something was missing. I have always had a passion for helping people and making them feel the best version of themselves but I wasn't utilizing all my skill sets and pushing myself to my full potential. Through being a hairstylist, I get the opportunity to meet new people from all over and listen to their stories while simultaneously making them feel the best version of themselves, not only physically but mentally.

Finally, I am perhaps most excited for how my experiences as a young woman with epilepsy will allow me to empathize with my clients and make a difference in how anyway. I sincerely hope they will see me as a trustworthy and caring ally both in and out of the salon, especially fellow epileptics or people with other neurological disorders that can typically make it difficult to receive certain beauty treatments. I would love to learn more and accumulate a multitude of best practices to become a resource for this underserved community.
