About a year ago I worked in a hair salon. It was very much unexpected just because my mom was the one who said yes to the job before I could say no. I had never thought about doing hair, but it was one of the best decisions my mom had made for me. I fell in love with watching my boss do hair the only time I ever felt "bored" was when there wasn't a client in the chair. She would let me shadow her work and it was just art happening in front of me. Just a little later the Tenaj Salon Institute recruiter came to my highschool and before I knew it I started one week after my graduation. I have come a long way from not knowing how to roundbrush or knowing common hair knowledge. To be able to explain things I didn't know in the beginning to the new basics classes coming. I'm very excited to see what my future holds.
