Courtney Cox

Hey hey! My name is Courtney Cox. I am 25 years old, and from Cincinnati, Ohio! Since I was in early highschool I have always had a passion for the beauty world, especially makeup. Growing up, I was always a more creative person. I enjoy drawing, painting and doing digital art. I get my creativity from my father who is a very talented human and someone I adore and look up to. My mother has also been a huge inspiration to my dreams and was super encouraging with me having a passion for beauty. We would always watch youtube tutorials and our favorite beauty influencers together. My mom even wanted me to become one! Sadly I put that dream aside, as I had doubt for myself. I was bullied my whole life as being a plus-sized girl and was always given back-handed complimented on my look efforts. I was always talked down upon. With that came discouragement, so I put that beauty dream aside and tried the medical field and bartending. Bartending I've adore the last 4 years, because you put art into making drinks and people happy. I've recently realized that all career paths I've tried always end up being a care-giving path. Thankfully for that realization, I circled back into the beauty world and thought "what if?". After a long, hard thought- beauty school was my dream that I let go and I was always curious where I'd be if I had given it a chance when I wanted to. Seven years later I am finally giving myself and my life a chance at that dream, and running like the wind with it. Nothing will stop me and I am excited to learn, grow and find even deeper passion and love for this industry. I hope you all can relate and follow me on my exciting journey!
