About me
Courtney McCormick
My passion for sharing and exploring all things beauty comes from a lifelong obsession with the rituals and practices that allow us to transform- both ourselves and the world around us. From a young age- observing these rituals, taking part, and passing them on has allowed me to feel greater connection to reverence of community and helping one another in small ways.
Graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Sherman Oaks as of January 2022. I will receive my 1600 hour cosmetology license within the next several weeks.
With a background in business management and customer service, I have over 15 years of experience working in high volume environments that require multi-tasking, attention to detail, and an ability to anticipate the needs of the people I am working with and those I provide service to. My experience has taught me that skills are built with practice and determination. I'm very excited to be practicing skills I look to develop with articulation and nuance so that I can create and experiment with artistry.
I would love to continue to work on editorials, as well as other creative projects that help me expand my skills, abilities, and experiences.

I am looking to grow myself professionally and develop my artistry in a way where I can experience innovation through experimentation and a willingness to feel out my depth.
I want to learn all of the ways to simplify and share beauty, all the tips and tricks to grow and age gracefully. To share that knowledge with human beings during all phases of life.
I love learning from others and seeing how other creative artists utilize hair styling, sculpture, and color to push boundaries in their own experience and development towards mastery.
