Courtney Schultz

My name is Courtney, and I am a mother to my amazing little boy, Carter! Being a mother is one of the single greatest things that has ever happened to me! Next to becoming a mother, being creative and using that on my life path was very important to me! I spent many years painting and drawing, and even went to school as an art major for one semester. Luckily in school they were very honest on the dificulties of using your art degree, so I decided to step back but was very persistent on finding a way to utalize the creative part of me in my career. When my son was born in 2021 I knew it was time to really figure out what was next for me to make a good life for me, my son, and my fiancé. In high school my main hobby was makeup. Doing makeup for my friends, watching endless videos on YouTube, and even working with a photographer at one point doing makeup for her clients! I was sitting down one day thinking about my career path, and remembered that lost passion from high school, and it hit me what I needed to do, COSMETOLOGY! I'm also extremely social so it was the perfect match! Getting to be creative, AND chat all day? Sounded absolutely too good to be true. I was then lucky enough to stumble upon Paul Mitchell of Greenville. PMTS has truly been such a gift of an experience and huge for my education. So here I am now, almost to the end of the first stage in my career journey, about to graduate, and very ready to start this next chapter in my life!
