I come from a single parent household. My mom never loved her job but she toughed it out because she needed to provide for us. I'm very grateful that she always encouraged us to find a job that made us happy and allowed us to be creative. While growing up with one parent had its challenges its taught me so much and made me who I am today.

When you're growing up you're constantly asked, "What do you want to do when you grow up?" While the answer to that question changed year after year I eventually came up blank. I realized what that question meant and it became The Big Question. The pandemic forced me to look for a new job which made me have to ask myself one last time, "What do you want to do when you grow up?"
I was sure of a few things:
1. Customer service. There is no joy like like helping someone.
2. able to express my self creatively.
3. Stability but not routine.
4. Most importantly, I had to love it.
When I finally realized this industry and occupation checked off all my boxes I knew I had finally found where I belonged.
