About me
Hi! My name is Crystal Kodsuntie. I am passionate about hairstyles that combine fun, camp, and class. I’m from Northern California and attended Paul Mitchell The School in Sacramento. At Paul Mitchell, I worked on cuts, coloring, styling, and texture, as well as been a stylist for fashion shows. My graduation from UCSB with high honors in two Bachelor’s degrees, proves that in every venture I undertake, I am committed to gaining knowledge and diligently working towards a goal. In addition to hairstyling, my other passions are dance and filmmaking. Therefore, I am pursuing a career in film/television and bridal hair. These avenues would allow my imaginative styling to take form to make a director or bride’s vision come to life.

Why I'm here
I love imagining intricate designs that come to life and inspire a backstory. In a service job such as hairdressing, my primary goal is to ensure that clients’ expectations are met or exceeded with my determination and attention to detail. Further, I want to show people that they can enhance their individual aesthetic by visualizing their personality in hairstyles. I aspire to take these skills into the film/television industry to display personality through hair to tell important stories with unique characters representing diversity in media.
