Dahlia Reese-Davies

My name is Dahlia, I was named after the flower Dahlia. I was born in Somerspoint, NJ and raised in Raleigh, NC. My passion for hair began as a little girl. My mother did not know how to manage my textured hair and as most black women do relaxed my hair at a young age. Of course it caused severe breakage and damage to my hair. As i got older i felt ugly, I didn’t like myself. I started doing my own hair and did the big chop at 14. As my hair grew and I played with it more and discovered different styles my confidence grew. I want to help other men and women from young to old gain their confidence one headful of hair at a time!
