Hi, my name is Daniel Garcia and my purpose is to celebrate every individual’s own uniqueness. I remember growing up in El Salvador and going to school there, very poor and it lacked many tools students needed, however school was always a sacred place in which students came to learn. I value education and knowlege as it allows you to grow as an individual and as an artist. I arrived in the United States of American at the age of 15, and I have not stop learning, or attending a school since. I learned a lot from having my entire life moved to a new country. I became quick to adapt to change but also appreciate the connections you make with people. I have volunteer through out the years either by helping the homeless community, or cleaning up trash around the city. It allowed me to participate and work in groups of people as well as practice my public speaking skills. I worked many years with the senior citizen community, and they taught me many important life lessons. At the time I had already completed my makeup artist certification and didn’t know what to do or where to go, and I remember I always wanted to go to Paul Mitchell the School. The Paul Mitchell School coincided with my core values and believes. Respect for others, dedication, and the celebration of every individual’s own uniqueness.
