Growing up, I always had problems with my skin. It's highly sensitive, breakout prone, and riddled with seborrheic dermatitis. I struggled with finding an effective skin care routine and no one I knew seemed to have any kniwledge or advice to offer. During the Covid pandemic, I started following estheticians on social media and doing more research on my skin care routine. I learned a lot and was able to finally feel confident in my own skin. I started having friends and family ask me about skin care and recommendations as they noticed how passionate I became about skin health and it felt so good to be able to help them with their skin care. I realized I could make a career out of helping people feel as confident as I was now feeling in my skin if I pursued a license in esthetics.
