Hey there!! My name is Darian, I'm 23 with a passion for creativity and transformatio! Currently, I'm pursuing my dreams in the exciting world of cosmetology at Paul Mitchell the School St. George. As a dedicated student, I've also had the privilege of serving on the student council, where I've had the opportunity to connect with my peers and contribute to our vibrant community. One of the most thrilling aspects of my journey in cosmetology is my application to the Phase 2 Honors Program, which I'm eagerly looking forward to as I approach my 800-hour milestone. This program will provide me with even more opportunities to refine my skills, learn from industry experts, and continue to excel in my chosen field. I thrive on hard work and am genuinely passionate about what I do. My heart beats for the world of fashion colors, daring haircuts, and, most importantly, the profound transformations that I help my clients achieve. There's nothing quite like the feeling of making someone look and feel their absolute best through the artistry of hair.

My journey into cosmetology has been a path of discovery and transformation. At the age of 16, I initially had a strong desire to pursue cosmetology, but circumstances led me in a different direction. I enrolled in a tech school that worked in conjunction with my high school, but instead of cosmetology, I chose to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). For five years, I dedicated myself to the noble field of healthcare, working as a CNA while finishing high school and embarking on my college journey. I started my college education at Southern Utah University (SUU) in the fall of 2019 with a major in nursing. However, as I progressed through multiple semesters, I realized that my true passion was still in cosmetology. This realization was more than just a career choice; it was a calling to combine my love for caring for people with my creative talents in cosmetology. I envisioned a way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who might not have the opportunity to experience the simple joys of self-care and beauty. I dreamed of visiting nursing homes, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers, offering haircuts, nail care, and the gift of feeling beautiful to those who rarely had such moments of pampering. My journey into cosmetology isn't just about personal fulfillment; it's a commitment to enhancing the well-being and self-esteem of others. This fusion of my caring nature with the artistry of cosmetology is a deeply fulfilling purpose that drives me to excel in my studies and look forward to a future where I can bring smiles and confidence to those in need.
