At sixteen I migrated to the US alone, leaving behind my family and my barber. This new world was a major adjustment. I was in absolute culture shock, faced with a language barrier, and couldn’t find anyone to cut my hair. So, I learned to do it myself. This is where I discovered my love for haircutting. As time went on, I practiced on my friends and co-workers Word about my craft travelled fast and hair cutting inevitably became my career! After fifteen years of sharing my self-taught artistry with numbers of clients; I had the opportunity to work with Samsung Mobile USA. I starred in a commercial for the Samsung Galaxy Note as myself and they featured my artwork, journal, and creative processes. Soon after I began collaborating with Los Angeles Barbers & Stylists at American Barbershop. As a dedicated student and artist I’ve learned so much and I’m eager to bring my skills, knowledge and years of dedication to this industry into the next phase!
