About me
Hi, my name is Deonna Bailey, and I'm a proud student at Paul Mitchell The School Houston, where I'm pursuing my passion for beauty, creativity, and connection through hair.
I've always had a creative side. I took art classes every year throughout middle school, high school, and college~ whether it was drawing, painting, or sculpting, I loved expressing myself through my hands. At the same time, I was a dedicated student-athlete, which taught me the value of hard work, discipline, and pushing myself to be better every day.
Even before enrolling in school, I was the go- to person for makeup and hairstyling whenever my friends and I were going out. Curling hair, doing makeup, and creating looks just came naturally to me~ it was something I genuinely enjoyed and took pride in.
Being at Paul Mitchell The School Houston has allowed me to bring all of these passions together. I'm learning to perfect my craft, build professional skills, and prepare for a career where I can help others feel confident and beautiful~ while continuing to grow as an artist and stylist.

I entered the hair industry because I've always been passionate about helping people feel confident, empowere, and beautiful. Hair is more than just style- i-t's a self expression, culture, and identity. I love the creative freedom that comes with transforming a look, whether it's through a fresh cut, color, or styling.
Every client is unique, and it's my mission to bring their vision to life while providing a relaxing and uplifting experience. This industry constantly evolves, and I'm committed to growing with it ~ refining my skills, learning new techniques, and staying inspired. For me, it's not just a job~it's an art and a calling.
