Devyn Lyles

A big city California girl with small town Louisiana roots. Devyn Calton, formerly Devyn Lyles, is my name. I enjoy everything about the beauty industry but I particularly flourish in helping women with their hair. This industry allows my right brain creative to explore in different textures and unleash in playful color; while my left brain logistical mind is indulged in the formulation of color and the construction of hair styling. My start in the industry began as a child getting lost in my mom's curls and then extending over into my friends letting me style their hair for parties and school events. My senior year of high school I went to my first salon and was introduced to the real transformation that a professional touch has. My Sophomore year of college I cut off all of my hair and "went natural". That experience taught me how to grow and maintain healthy hair. I really enjoy the opportunities this career and industry have. I am open to building my business in editorial, special events/fashion shows/bridal, education, and am currently working to expand my clientele behind the chair offering hair coloring and cutting techniques, natural/textured hair care, keratin treatments, conditioning treatments, and bridal and editorial styles.
