About me
My name is Elizabeth Carey and I am currently attending Paul Mitchell The School in Columbus Ohio. I am so excited to enter the beauty industry and share my Journey with others! I have many years of customer service in all types of environments from sales, waiting tables, bartending, I've ran my own cake business and even organizing fundraising events. I have the biggest love for art of all kinds. If you look with the right mindset you can find beauty and art in anything!

Why I'm here
Growing up I was the only girl. I had my parents and my three brothers. My mother was an only child and was also raised around all boys. With that being said, I didn't really get a head start on the whole "beauty" train. I wasn't taught how to do hair and make up but I was always interested and always loved to play. I used to be able to sucker my brothers into letting me get them dolled up! As I got older I became more interested in it and it just stuck with me. I have also always been the person that looked at the cup as half full. We didn't always have it easy growing up but we made do and we were always happy. As a child I never realized the struggle my parents had gone through. Now looking back, that's what motivates me even more to go after my dreams in this industry and go as far as I can with it and provide an even brighter future for my own children. I am now almost 30 years old and have reached a point in my life where I am finally going to do something that I have wanted to do my whole life and show my children and other people like me, that it is never too late to follow your dreams!
