I want to help people feel better, inside and out!

Hello, my name is Elizabeth!
I'm a South Carolina native, a recently licensed cosmetologist and I am excitedly looking for a new salon home.
While I was in school I took clients, I made up-sales and sold retail.
I worked at the Color Bar mixing lightener, Color, Toners and folding lots of foils.
I worked "The Dispensary" washing everyone's bowls, bottles and brushes, all the capes, aprons, towels and sheets.
I worked as a Front end assistant, greeting clients and making sure everything was kept sanitary and tidy.
I was on the Take home and Brand team, Student Counsel, Be Nice or Else club and I applied to the Green team but we did not have enough staff at the time to keep the club open.
I am a fast learner, I have a strong work ethic, I am loyal and moral.
When I envision my ideal work environment - I imagine it to be positive, helpful, kind, accepting and community centered.
When I think of my ideal salon family - I imagine them to be team players, eager for growth, kind, efficient and whole heartedly invested in their craft!
I am on the hunt for a salon that welcomes and supports continuing education, teamwork, culture, longevity, morals and offers a reliable carreer path. I'd love to be part of a salon that aligns with my core values as a human being but also as a professional. I believe in always leaving a person, place, or thing better than I found them.
I am extremely hard-working, I really care about what I do and how I make people feel. I am very punctual, organized and clean! I keep to myself but I am always willing to lend a helping hand and I always try to treat others the way I would want to be treated. I believe I have a very good foundation in cosmetology but I also believe I need further advice and mentoring to reach my full potential so I am looking for a teaching salon, assistant position or a mentor.

I really enjoy staying active, being hands-on and creative. I had a lot of art classes when I was growing up and I pretty much always knew that I wanted to go into cosmetology because it could keep me doing all the things I love. I think it’s really important that I am in a career that I can give back, I think it’s very important to be involved in the community, to help others and to contribute when you can. I love the access that this field gives me to helping people.
I appreciate and I am grateful for how easy it is to give back in the cosmetology field.
