About me
I am an independent stylist and native of beautiful Hampton, VA.
As a licensed stylist for 6 years, I have built my career on learning and sharing what I have learned with my peers. It is my belief that we will never learn all things in our ever-changing industry but we should strive to obtain as much information as we can. Anything less than that is a disservice to ourselves and our clients. A testament to this, is how I came to my previous salon as a co-stylist only knowing basic color theory and have since become an educator and creator of my own course named "Texture Talk." This course is one that has crossed many of my passions--color, education, and diversity and inclusion--to dispel the myths and overcome the fear of servicing clients with textured hair. I aspire to bring this same excitement to every learning experience I have the pleasure of teaching.

Why I'm here
Being in the workforce for over 11 years has afforded me great opportunities . I've planned charity fashion shows and raised thousands of dollars to support breast cancer research. I've coordinated large group trips for youth in my local area to experience the joy of travel. I've been recognized for my ability to organically grow social media metrics and surpass sales goal. Now I'm looking to take my talent beyond my chair again and continue meaningful and impactful work within the beauty industry on a much larger scale. With a deep love of diversity, color theory, and seeing other's win, I'm excited to bring this passion to every room I'm able to walk into.
