Emily Frontino

Hello!   My name is Emily Frontino! I am 22 years young and I am a stylist at BX Studio in Monongahela. First and foremost, I absolutely love my career. I am so passionate about making others feel like they can shine and be so confident in who they are. As someone who has felt less than more times than I can count, it makes my heart so happy to be able to do something so little as doing someones hair and make them feel like they can conquer the world. Originally, I wanted to attend Kent State University for fashion merchandising. At the time, it seemed like the most creative path I could have taken at that point in my life. I am a very hands on learner so it seemed like the best option. Fast forward to now... choosing to be in the beauty industry was a complete left turn from where I thought I would be. I am still new(ish) to this career but it has fulfilled me in ways I never thought possible and I genuinely couldn't imagine doing anything else. I love learning, I love people, and I love creating so when I go to work everyday, it never feels like work. Educating is always something I've wanted to do but never felt like I had the confidence to do it. When I found pulp riot and saw the amazing team and products they've created from the ground up, it sparked something in me and made me feel like I could truly do whatever I wanted. Why couldn't I be and educator if thats something that I am so passionate about?! So here I am! Don't ever forget that you got this!Fun facts about me: My family and friends are hands down the best support system I could've ever asked for. I adopted a little black cat named Elphaba (after the wicked witch from Wicked) but I never really liked cats until now. I have an amazing boyfriend who does nothing but cheer me on... along with all my crazy hair choices. I dress a little edgy, a little girly, a little grungy... so I'm all over the place basically. My favorite color is baby pink and one day when I have my little family, I hope to have a little corgi puppy to complete it! Grease is my favorite movie of all time, along with Dirty Dancing, Coyote Ugly, Mean Girls, and Mamma Mia. Lastly, I am so blessed to be able to work with some of my closest friends! Super random!
