Hi! My name is Emily and I love all things makeup and hair! I grew up in Colorado Springs and moved to Minnesota about 3 years ago. As I don’t really like this state, (the freezing cold is not my thing), I really want to explore my sense of adventure more, and travel! All my life I’ve been in one place or another feeling pretty lost and like I had no control...and then I stumbled upon Aveda, and they showed me all the things I could do, and all the places I could go in a fun and widespread career! My overall goal throughout life is to be happy, and I just know I’m on the right path headed towards that! There’s a few key things I always keep in mind to try and stay positive so I don’t lose sight of my end goal, always be kind, try and turn a bad day into a good day, and consider others as much as yourself, but always put yourself first. If you don’t take care of you first, you can’t expect to take care of others!
