About me
Hello, I’m Erika “Kane” Lee, a passionate hair and makeup artist deeply committed to fostering a diverse and equitable beauty industry. My love for beauty began at age 14 with a simple liquid eyeliner, sparking a lifelong fascination with makeup. In 2014, I took my passion global, studying at The Academy of Freelance Makeup in London, and by 2015, I had the privilege of showcasing my artistry at prestigious fashion events across London, Milan, Paris, and New York.
Eager to expand my skillset, I am currently enrolled at Hair Academy, mastering hairstyling techniques focused on healthy hair growth and tape-in extensions. Alongside my work in beauty, I hold an Associate’s in Human Resource Management, a Bachelor’s in Political Science, and a Master’s in Public Policy. I believe these degrees will serve as a foundation to help me drive change and innovation within the beauty industry, promoting inclusivity, equity, and a future that celebrates all forms of beauty.
With a strong foundation in creativity and a commitment to excellence, I’m focused on empowering my clients by delivering personalized beauty experiences that make them look and feel their best. I entered the beauty industry as a hair and makeup artist because I truly believe in the transformative power of beauty—its ability to uplift, empower, and help people feel seen. What began as a teenage passion has grown into a lifelong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming experiences for every client I serve.
Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering both makeup and hairstyling, always with the goal of celebrating individuality and enhancing natural beauty. For me, beauty isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about confidence, identity, and creating a sense of belonging.
