Erin Felton

Hello, my name is Erin Felton. In my work, I like to try new techniques and express my creativity. My precise nature gives me a unique eye for detail. Tulip City Beauty College in partnership with Sam Villa is the Scholl I graduated from located in Holland, MI. 

 Familiar products to me are Matrix color line and styling/finishing products, Sexy Hairstyling/finishing products. Holding certifications with Matrix, Olaplex, Brazilian Blowout, and Barbicide. With intentions to obtain more up-to-date certifications targeting cutting and coloring.

 Formerly, at school, I attended a webinar with Sam Villa once a month and had access to a multitude of webinars. Alongside increasing my skills, I aspire to give back to the community and complete the instructor program in 5 years.

 Steps I can take to achieve these goals are: Enrolling in classes on the Salon Centric and Matrix websites post-license. I can give back by taking part in programs inside and outside the salon to help those in need. Within 2-4 years after obtaining my license I will enter into the instructor program at Tulip City Beauty College or another school of my choice.

 Giving back is something that I admire and I feel I want to do more often. In school, I participated in "haircuts for the holidays" and it made me happy to be able to put a smile on those people's faces. If I were an instructor I would better be able to inform my clients and I wish to inspire new stylists through my love for learning. By learning more I hope get better with each service I do. This is what motivates me to keep my priorities aligned to my goals.
