Fernando Cervantes-Sitton

’ve had a pretty unique path that brought me into this industry. I started in the military, then spent about ten years teaching art to kids, and for the past ten years, I’ve been working as a hairstylist. Each of those experiences has taught me so much and really shaped who I am today.

I’ve also been a painter for many years, so creativity has always been part of me. When I started doing hair, it felt like a natural extension of all of that — still art, still teaching, and helping people see themselves in a new way.

It was my mother who inspired me to take the leap into this career. She showed me how caring for yourself and expressing who you are can change how you feel. Because of her, I learned that true quality comes from intention — the care, effort, and all the little choices that make something meaningful and lasting.

What I love most is that teaching is never one-sided. It’s an exchange. I get to see those ‘aha’ moments in someone else, and I’m always learning too.

Every person I meet has their own story, and that’s why I’m so passionate about sharing this craft. It’s the perfect balance of giving, learning, and celebrating the experience of life
