About me
I am an artist and I have been my entire life. I decided to pursue a career of cosmetology at Aveda Fredric's Institute. I get to combine my creative side and professional side for work, which is so enjoyable. It feels like this path was the right choice, I have had so much fun learning and making friends in this industry.

Why I'm here
Before taking this path, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I got into IU's school of education, but I realized before going that I wasn't doing it for myself. I was going because that is what I was told I should do. I took a year of school and tried to pursue my passion for painting and photography, but it was really difficult to get myself out there. I was working a full time job that drained all my energy and I didn't have the will to create anything anymore. In April I quit my job and tried to find something else I was passionate about! My best friend was going to cosmetology school and I decided that sounded fun and creative, so I gave it shot, and here I am!
