Frances Merritt

Hi!  I’m Frances, a cosmetology student at the Aveda Institute Chapel Hill.  I love doing hair because I’m also a visual artist in painting and mixed media (cover photo is my work) and its been so fun to find ways to translate my creativity in a new medium; hair.  I’m very interested in curly hair care/cutting although I haven’t had a ton of education opportunities to explore that passion fully yet.  I also really enjoy fashion color as well as blonding of all techniques.  I’m always excited to learn and am looking for new opportunities beyond the institute for education and work.  I’ve also had experience in the customer service and retail side of a salon and now I’m looking for assistant or stylist opportunities.
