About me
I’m Francesca Maria, a NYC-based session hairstylist with a lifelong passion for the beauty industry. My journey began in my parents' Redken salon, where I was immersed in the art of hair from an early age, attending Redken seminars since I was thirteen years old. This early exposure not only sparked my love for hairstyling but also instilled in me a deep respect for the craft and the transformative power of education.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with high-profile clients like Kate Upton, Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Thomas, and supermodels Cindy Bruna and Daphne Groeneveld. My work has been featured in campaigns for iconic brands such as Cezzane Hair, Sally's Beauty Supply, Elie Tahari, Aeropostale, JC Penney, and Lucky Brand. These experiences have shaped my evolution into not just a hairstylist, but a creative leader who orchestrates my department within photo and video shoots. I blend my hairstyling expertise with strategic creativity to ensure every look is camera-ready and perfectly aligned with the overall vision of the project.
Looking ahead, I see myself not only perfecting my craft but also stepping into a role where I can lead and inspire others. My goal is to become a true leader in our industry—someone who shares knowledge, mentors the next generation of beauty professionals, and drives innovation. I want to be at the forefront of the industry’s evolution, helping to shape the future of beauty through education, ambassadorship, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

I’ve joined this community because I’m excited to embark on a new chapter in my career—one that focuses more on education, ambassadorship, and becoming a platform artist. I believe that sharing knowledge and inspiring others is a vital part of our industry’s growth, and I’m eager to contribute in a meaningful way. I’ve been told that I have a natural talent for explaining my techniques and approach to styling, and I’m enthusiastic about the opportunity to teach, mentor, and connect with fellow beauty professionals who are as passionate about this industry as I am.
