About me
I am currently pursuing my Aesthetician License at Universal Spa Training Academy in Downers Grove, Illinois, where I am learning laser treatments, facials, waxing, anatomy, and other advanced skincare techniques. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, in May 2026, and I enjoy combining my communication and marketing background with my passion for skincare and client care. I currently work part-time at Face Foundrié in Downtown Naperville, where I sell memberships and skincare products, schedule appointments, complete client intakes, and educate guests about our services. My experience in retail and sales has strengthened my customer service and communication skills, and I look forward to graduating from my aesthetics program on April 16, 2027, as I continue working toward a career in the beauty and wellness industry.

Why I'm here
I chose to attend Universal Spa Training Academy because of my own lifelong skincare journey. After struggling with severe acne for years and going through two rounds of Accutane, I understand firsthand how deeply skin concerns can affect a person's confidence and everyday life. Through my own experiences, I became passionate about learning skincare ingredients and treatments, and I've loved helping my friends and family navigate their own skin concerns using the knowledge I've gained from years of research and dermatologist visits. My goal is to build a career on the clinical side of the aesthetics industry, where I can educate, support, and help others feel more confident in their skin.
