Gabrielle Subia

I am Gabrielle Subia, I started cosmetology school a bit over a year ago and am in the last few weeks of my program. When I first started school I did it because I needed to get out there and do something for myself but I did not realize how much love I really had for this industry. Throughout this period I have learned so much and have come to realize what I am best at. I am a confident braider and love to see the end result of intricate designs. I also love vivid colors and have learned so much about the color wheel and how to completely transform someon's hair just by understanding how it works. Lastly I have reignited my love for nails, especially in all gel services, from basic manicures to hard gel, poly gel, and even gel-x. Even tho I initially started school for myself you realize that it isn't even about you. The beauty industry is about everyone else, it's about your clients, you grow this love and trust with strangers all the time and you show that you care about them and how they feel and how they look. I think the beauty industry has to be one of the most caring carreer feilds. We spend hours on hours with people we don't even know just to make them happy and feel better in their own skin, how beautiful is that?
