Genesis Hair & Day Spa is a family-owned business of over 40 years. Co-founders John Ackley and Pat Hagland built our salon company, then Pat's daughters, Sarah and Tania, came on as service providers and now manage the business.
We are very active in the MATC Cosmetology Apprenticeship program where many of our team members come from to start their career! Tania is our hair educator and Sarah is our spa and nails educator for apprentices and new team members.
Continued education after Cosmetology school is a pillar of our business not only to stay up-to-date with the latest trends, but to help our team continue to grow as artists and professionals.
Another pillar of our business is community outreach. We love volunteering in our community and donating to local causes. We hold a bake sale during the holidays and give glitter tattoos during the 4th of July then donate the proceeds to a local cause!
