About me
Hi! My name is Grace Berry and I am an 18 year old cosmetology student at Summit Salon Academy Peoria. I am very excited to start my career at a young age to explore all the opportunities and possibilities I will encounter! I love everything cosmetology has to offer. I've always loved everything beauty including hair, skin, makeup, etc! I would like to specialize in color and blonding services. I can't wait to have a career in this industry!

Why I'm here
I've always loved everything hair, makeup, and beauty centered. I remember at an early age playing with my moms makeup and learning different hairstyles on myself. I never actually knew I wanted to do cosmetology until after I graduated high school. It was always a struggle trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I always had a struggle with the way I felt about myself and being able to make others see their true beauty is one of the best rewards of the industry. After hearing about a new school opening in my area, I knew it was meant to be. Things just aligned and I ended up at a wonderful school learning wonderful things and I truly found my passion in life.
