Gracie Shappley

Hi! I am Gracie Shappley and I currently attend Paul Mitchell The School in Memphis! I am 19 years old, I live in Mississippi with my two parents and my younger brother. I graduated from Olive Branch High school in May 2019 and I knew I wanted to attend cosmetology school. I started school at Paul Mitchell in July 2019 very soon after graduating high school and it was one of the best decisions I have made! I remember  telling myself my first week of school “I am so glad I chose this career and I can see myself doing this for the rest of my life” 10 months later and not a single thing has changed. I have always been passionate about helping others and doing hair, so I knew this industry would be the perfect fit for me! For the 10 months i’ve been in school my love for color and mens cuts has sky rocketed. I really enjoy the science behind coloring hair and shockingly I love clipper cuts! I plan to become certified in color, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and cutting. I also have a very strong interest in doing wedding hair and makeup. My journey so far has been nothing shy of amazing.
