Gwen Butler

My life purpose statement is I continuously evolve and always strive to be a better version of myself, then use that knowledge to selflessly help others see all the beauty in themselves, inside and out. 

I have wanted to be in the beauty industry since I was 7 years old. I used to watch my Gran get dressed everyday. She was so glamorous. She would always show me how she did things but I always wanted to know more. After highschool i wanted to go into beauty school but after 9/11 I wanted to serve my country first so I decided to go into the Air Force, as a security forces officer.

In 2010 I moved to Florida and finally got my opportunity to go to school for my passion. From my first day at school to the very last I loved every minute. I actually graduated in 8 months because I never missed a day and happily did every haircut and rollerset. 

When I moved to Georgia and had another hurdle to get over, my license was only valid iin Florida so I had to figure out exacty how to get a license in GA. So after a ton of paperwork i was finally was able to get to work building my buisness. 

7 years later I still love what I do and can't wait to see what the future holds.
