My name is Hailey Cornelius and I’m a salon manager, stylist, and educator. Cosmetology as a whole isn’t just a job or a hobby to me, it’s a culture. I love to create custom and unique looks personalized to each client but my passion is in education. I constantly crave personal growth and learning but I also love to show others what I’ve learned and it’s my goal to inspire others. Teaching others pushes my own personal growth and knowledge. I am a team player and love assisting other stylists and helping in any way that I can. I’ve found that my way of thinking and problem solving can be quite unique. I love experimenting with made up techniques and finding easy solutions for problems we run into every day as hair stylists. My goal is to work for Pulp Riot as an educator to help other stylists with techniques, formulations, and to inspire others. I also plan to open my own Pulp Riot exclusive salon and amp up my online education platform and social media. The hair styling world as we know it is being reborn and reinvented and I’m ready to take it by the reins. I am obsessed with body art and hair is part of that. I walk clients into becoming who they truly are and letting it shine through their physical appearance. As stylists we can get bogged down in technicality and fall into a repetitive motion if we allow it. My passion is inspiring others to break out of their box and to not be afraid to experiment and to get creative. With clients, employers, and apprentices I’ve trained, I’ve developed a reputation for being a wild card and fearless. I find the most efficient ways to solve daunting problems. I want to give everyone the confidence to handle issues confidently, without over thinking it. I want to inspire people to not only take pride in being the black sheep, but to rock the shit out of it.
