Hallie Swift

I am only turning 20 this year, but I have known for the past 10 years that I wanted to go into the hair industry. The first time I stepped foot into a professional salon in sixth grade, I immediately fell in love with the community and environment within the salon.
When I was in fourth grade, I taught myself how to curl hair. I soon became the friend who styled everyone's hair, which lead to me eventually styling my family's hair. I absolutely loved it and would always think about how amazing it would be to do this as a career. Growing Up I always heard adults complaining about work, and I knew didn't want to go into a career, that I'd dred every morning. I wanted to do something I'd love and be excited about. In this industry we get to have fun. We create art, make wonderful connections, and most importantly get to make our clients look amazing, and also feel amazing.
I can not wait to see where this career takes me, and what opportunities lie ahead.
